At the intersection of time, detail, and feeling — my work begins

About My Practice – “Technique, Craft, and Process”

My work explores patience, control, and emotional resonance through resin. Using syringes instead of brushes, I hand-apply microscopic layers of paint, resin, and handwritten text to create surfaces that shimmer, reflect, and reveal. These tactile works reward close attention and often carry hidden messages — invitations to slow down and look deeper.

I developed this technique independently over several years, combining scientific tools, painterly instinct, and emotional storytelling. Each piece is created slowly and deliberately, with care and control. What began as material experimentation has become a visual language — precise, poetic, and unmistakably mine.

How it’s made - drop by drop

I work slowly and precisely, building each surface layer by layer. The pieces are tactile and luminous, embedding hidden microscopic messages. This clip shows part of the slow, controlled process that defines my work.

What Comes Next – “Scaling Up, Stepping Forward”

I want to take everything I’ve developed — the intricacy, the patience, the resonance — and bring it into public space.

But to do that, I need more than vision. I need space. Tools. Time. Support. Resin is a powerful but demanding material: it requires precision, control, and safety. At home, I’m out of room — physically and creatively. This next chapter of my work depends on having a dedicated, ventilated studio; a 3D printer to create custom moulds and understructures; and professional-grade tools that will allow me to scale my process without sacrificing detail.

I’ve proposed a series of public artworks — including a heritage-inspired mural for East Finchley Underground Station and site-specific commissions for developers and private collectors. But right now, I don’t yet have the infrastructure to realise those ideas to the standard I know I can achieve.

With the right investment, this becomes possible. I can develop work that’s not only more ambitious in size, but deeper in impact — transforming not just walls and windows, but the way people feel in the spaces they pass through every day.

This phase is about scaling up my practice so that I can meet the moment — with precision, confidence, and art that lasts.

I recently got shortlisted to the final 8 candidates for “Mural on Mortimer” - a large-scale installation on Mortimer Street, Fitzrovia, commissioned by The Langham Estate.

Giving Back – “Sharing the Process”

There are very few UK artists working in high-detail resin-based techniques, especially at this level of precision. I want to change that.

As I grow my practice, I plan to document the process — through studio notes, behind-the-scenes reels, and informal knowledge-sharing — to help other artists navigate the complexities of working with resin. I hope to demystify the tools and techniques, while showing what’s possible with patience, practice, and care.

My goal is not just to evolve my own practice, but to raise the bar for what resin art can be — and to create a legacy of learning and inspiration for others.
