02. Fast Art vs. Luxury Art

In today’s art world, it often feels like speed is everything.
Post quickly. Sell fast. Make more. Price lower. Be seen.

Artists are told to keep feeding the algorithm, to underprice their work for “exposure,” and to keep producing at a pace that rarely allows for real depth. And because we’re all fighting to be seen, many of us give in—creating more, faster, for less than we truly deserve.

But not all art should be fast. In fact, the best art rarely is.

Luxury art is the opposite of this hustle. It’s rooted in time, care, and respect—for the process, for the materials, and for the artist. It’s not about volume. It’s about intention. It’s about choosing to go deeper instead of wider.

For me, luxury lives in the details:
The slow build of each line. The layers of resin. The hours spent guiding paint through syringes. It’s a love affair with precision, not production.

And it’s not just about how I work—it’s about why.
Because I believe art should hold meaning. It should be something you look at and feel. Something that outlasts trends. Something that makes you pause in a world obsessed with speed.

Luxury art isn’t made to be scrolled past.
It’s made to stay with you.

And in a sea of fast art, that is its quiet, undeniable power.
