As an artist, I struggle immensely with putting aside my “logical” brain when it comes to expanding my practice. Will my collectors like it? Does it speak in a way that’s true to me? Am I trying to be something I’m not? And the list goes on.
I’m in a deep period of introspection and I wonder what would happen if I managed to put those creative blocks aside and step out of my comfort zone? This piece is a rumination on the thought “What is underneath?”
